We are a small, non-kennel breeder of Yellow Labrador Retrievers located in St Petersburg, Florida.

Our goal is to produce dual purpose Labs that are both true to type in the show ring and built to perform in the field.

Our dogs live with us, play in our yard, swim in our pool and Tampa Bay, play with our children and grandchildren and are all-around loving, intelligent companion animals.

I have had Labradors for 20 years but never showed or bred them myself. I was looking for a companion for my last lone Lab and came across a newspaper advertisement for two Labs offered together. I recognized the kennel name of Belquest. Long story short, I purchased them both and decided to breed Belquest Splash of Covergirl. On the advice of a number of Florida breeders, Splash was bred to Am/Can CH Aquarius Centercourt Delight ("Buzz") who was Westminster Best of Breed 2006.

This breeding resulted in SALTY DOG of TAMPA BAY who is the cover shot for this website. Salty finished his championship in record time at 15 months of age. Then at 22 months of age, Salty took Westminster Kennel Club Best of Breed 2007! Beginners' luck I'd Say!!

As a result, we have entered into the show world in a big way. Salty continues to win ribbons at breed shows around the country. We have had litters and added several puppies from other kennels. We have high hopes for our females, too.

All in all, this has become a tremendously rewarding experience!
